Important Notes:

  • Plan Changes: A plan change fee will apply to those who wish to migrate between NT Plans 1 and 2. There will be no plan change fee for resellers who are migrating between a UNIX webhosting account and an NT plan. Please be aware that due to migration issues, moving from a UNIX plan to an NT plan (or NT plan to UNIX plan) will result in up 7 working days of site downtime. Resellers migrating customer sites between UNIX and NT will have to copy the entire website to a client machine and republish to the new account.
  • SSL Secure Server: Shared Certificates (Verisign, Thawte etc.) are not supported Windows NT. Customers must have their own dedicated certificate for secure transactions or secure http sessions. A dedicated certificate cannot be moved from a UNIX hosting account to an NT account with out re-registering with Verisign or Thawte.
  • Permissions: Permissions can not be set individually on Microsoft FrontPage child webs. Password protected directories/pages are not currently possible on this platform. Users needing this functionality should order one of our UNIX hosting plans.
  • SMTP: SMTP is not supported by Windows NT.

 

RapidDomain
New Domain Reservation Service

RapidSite has released a new domain reservation service called RapidDomain. This service has been created to accommodate customers who need domains registered without active Web sites in place. RapidDomain has many advantages over using third party services. Some of these advantages include:

  1. Having a domain that already points to our servers reduces the hassle that often comes with transferring a domain.
  2. Even if the customer's Web site is not completed, reserving the domain can be an income opportunity for you.
  3. Our Premier Partner status with the InterNIC will ensure timely solutions to any domain modification request that may arise with your customer's domain.

$60 plus NIC fees (billed separately) will reserve your domain.

  • “Under Construction” default page included.
  • Unlimited mail forwarding to a default address
  • If the reserved domain name is upgraded to a Personal thru Enterprise unix hosting plan, the hosting plan setup fee will be waived.

 

E-commerce Plans

E-commerce Plan EC-1
This plan is targeted at first time commerce customers who want to put 10 or less items on line. It doesn't support real time credit card processing, but everything can be done off-line. This is the perfect plan to get started with commerce and test the waters.

E-commerce Plan EC-2
This plan helps merchants with less than 100 items get on-line. Real time credit card processing is not built into the product. This plan is also good for people getting started online and those with more items to sell, but who do not have a high volume of transactions to offset the costs of implementing online processing.

E-commerce Plan  EC-3
This plan supports an unlimited number of items and has built-in CyberCash credit card processing. This plan is ideal for merchants with a large catalog of items (over 100 products). This is for serious e-commerce merchants.

E-commerce Plan EC-4
This plan allows the merchant to publish an unlimited number of items. The plan includes built-in Cybercash processing, a link to Quick Books, a drop ship order fulfillment module and IC Verify Support. This is the ideal product for a merchant who wants to build a big and automated store online that can process lots of transactions and integrate into the order fulfillment and accounting processes of the business.
